Classic GLO TKL Keyboard

Designed by Nephlock, the CLASSIC-TKL blends modern fun with retro charm in an affordable injection molded housing. Featuring per-key RGB with loads of RGB effects, a paired lightbar (toggleable with a unique Retro Mode), gasket isolation, and a full-contact silicone base for increased desk adhesion and acoustics. Acceptible Quality Standards

ENCLOSURE

Mold Lines: The injection process requires insert molds for some geometries to be made. You will see some horizontal lines on the underside of the board leading to the USB-C port.

Sprue Marks: There are three sprue marks on the top housing where the plastic enters the mold. These will not be visible once assembled on opaque enclosures, but may be noticeable on translucent colors.

Stress Cracks: In translucent cases you may see some minor stress cracks near the screw points. These should not be enough to compromise the structural integrity of the product.

Internal Silicone Colors: The internal silicone on opaque housings is subject to change over time, even among the units of the same colorway. This is internal and will not impact the product visually once assembled.

SILICONE BASE

Overflow: In some cases the application of the base will overflow its containing depression. This is typically only 1-2mm and can be gently pressed back into location with your fingernail.

Bubbles: Application of the silicone may leave small bubbles in the base. These should not impact usage of the product. Larger ones can be released with a thin needle.

Peeling: The silicone bases are applied with an adhesive layer (like a sticker). Any strong lateral force could begin to lift corners or edges and wear down the stick of the adhesive.

Dust Collection / Cleaning: Depending on color usage, your silicone base will pick up dust along the way. This is best removed with a baby or wet-wipe (do not use a paper towel). © 2021 NovelKeys LLC. All rights reserved.

PCB/PLATE
Bowing: In some cases the PCB is bowed slightly from the factory. This can cause the final assembly to lift at the edges with the included PC plate. This will solve itself over time, or can be fixed manually by gently bending the PCB backward to level it out (make sure it has nothing installed for this).

Switch / Stabilizer fitment: Due to a wide spectrum of tolerances across manufacturers, some switches or stabilizers may fit tighter or looser than desired. This should not impact the operation of the keyboard once assembled. Looser fitting switches may pull out when caps are removed. PCB Color The PCB color on opaque housings is subject to change over time, even among the units of the same colorway. This is internal and will not impact the product visually once assembled
