The HMX Cloud linear switch is quite unique among the existing HMX options. This is mainly due to the choice of materials; it is one of the first HMX switches to use LY stems. It also comes with PA12 top housing and PA2.0 bottom housing. Both are modified nylon materials that make the switch smooth and clacky. Here, PA2.0 is a new variant of nylon created by HMX by adding PTFE to the existing PA2 variant to reduce surface friction. PA12 is one of the clackiest nylon variants available and intensifies the top-out sound. Although both top and bottom housings are made from nylon variants, you don't need to worry about these switches being as noisy as Hyacinth V2 switches.
